Volunteers needed!

There are several positions needing volunteers. Please speak to someone in the office or shop if you might be interested.

  • Assistant Shop Manager
  • Volunteers for the shop
  • Office Administrators
    • to undertake admin tasks in the office, for example data entry and registering people who wish to be put on the waiting list; training will be given
  • Finance volunteers
    • during office opening hours (weekends, 10.00 am to 12.00 noon); ask to speak to Dolly for more details
  • Plant and produce sales
    • volunteers are needed to help run the plant and produce sales for Spa Hill Allotment Society
    • this involves cleaning pots, sowing, watering, potting up, weeding and pricking out seedlings until ready to be sold
    • if you are interested please ask in the office for Josie’s contact details (also available on the noticeboard).

Items in the shop are only available to plot holders and garden members*.

In stock at the moment:

  • Potatoes, many varieties
  • Elephant garlic
  • A small range of garden tools
  • Spring planting tools
  • Composts, farm yard manure and fertilisers
  • Seeds
  • Pots and trays

* If you wish to become a garden member, please visit the office: single membership, £2.10; joint membership, £3.10.

Free tea and coffee are available in the shop.
